Neurogenx Treatment

Neuropathy No Longer Has To Compromise Your Quality Of Life

What is Neurogenx?

In the past, there has been some success in treating neuropathy with TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) and an electrical modality known as Anodyne, but improvement is usually limited and temporary. A newer treatment named Neurogenx, however, has enjoyed a much higher success rate. InStride Gaston Foot & Ankle Associates is fortunate to be the first medical office in the Greater Charlotte-Gaston area to have this treatment available.

What is it used for?

Neurogenx is used mainly to treat the numbness and pain associated with diabetes and chemotherapy. It has been found to be effective in treating the following problems as well:
  • Neuropathy Treatment– Neuropathy
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Neuritis
  • Radiculopathy
  • Migraines
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Neuromas
  • Restless Leg Syndrome
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
  • Tarsal and Carpal Tunnel Syndromes
  • Charcot Marie Tooth
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Phantom Limb Syndrome

How it works:

The approach uses an Electronic Signal Treatment (EST) - cutting-edge, patented, high-frequency electronic waves to gently reach deep down through muscle and tissue.  In doing this, it removes impediments to normal nerve function to relieve neuropathy symptoms and severe neuromuscular pain. The machine does not simply stop neuropathy from getting worse, but also actually improves nerve function in most patients. The treatment can work on neuropathy from any cause. The treatments are done once a week for 8 weeks. Additional treatments may be necessary.
